A Bookish Lamp March 8, 2011 DIY, Home Decor, Thrift Store Finds 7 Comments 5552 Maybe you caught a peek at this lamp when I showed you my guest room. Up close you can see the lamp is actually covered in book pages. Originally, it looked like this. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the color is actually slightly pink. I fell in love with the shape and small footprint, so $8 at Goodwill was a bargain! Instead of repainting it, I decided to use some of the old books I had leftover from my wreath and monogram to cover it with Mod Podge. Topped with a small linen shade from Target, I love the simple but unique result! **********Linked Up************* 7 Responses Teri March 8, 2011 Super cute! I think it brings all the colors together nicely in the room. […] Reply Woah, That’s GREEN. October 14, 2011 […] everything else without being too matchy matchy.
