Front Porch Refresh…DONE! October 26, 2011 DIY, Our House 1 Comment 20908 I feel like this is one of those projects that I’ve talked and talked about and never seems to get done (like that’s never happened before!). It started with a fresh coat of white paint on the railings, followed by the sanding and staining of the floor. Just when I was in the groove staining, the rain came in for several days, and I had to put everything on hold while the wood dried out. This weekend I was finally able to complete everything, so here is the final look. I’ll apologize in advance for the dustiness of the floors…we had a crazy dog weekend, but I’ll give them a hose down and take better pictures later this week. I even got a new welcome rug for the occasion. The color is Cordovan Brown from Behr in a solid stain, and I did two coats. Now I only have 3 more decks to go 😛 One Response Rencontre plan q September 8, 2014 Wow that was odd. I just wrote an really long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up.
