Holiday Wrapping: Christmas 2013 Edition December 16, 2013 Christmas, DIY, Fabric and Textiles 1 Comment 7079 I love wrapping presents. Unfortunately I’m not naturally that good at it, so I’ve developed a technique that I call “distraction.” Yes, it involves embellishing the package so much that you can’t tell I’m actually terrible at wrapping. I like to start with plain brown paper, then go nuts with an assortment of whatever craft supplies I can find in and around the house. In this case: jingle bells, cypress cuttings, ribbon, and scrabble letters. Then I wrapped up a couple more with a different look. I’ve been seeing some cute layered wrapping jobs on Pinterest, so I tried a super simplified version with some scrap paper and tissue. Are you distracted?
