This year I broke the record for the number of table linens I had to sew: 4 napkins and 1 glorious striped table runner.

Most of the dishes are from my existing collection, except the gold/black plaid ($3.99/ea at TJ Maxx) purchased this past week. The gold rimmed goblets I snagged for $1/each at a local thrift store (WHAT? I KNOW). We already talked about my amazing gold plated flatware victory…

As for the name writing on the place cards, I found a cute font online (“Luna”) and printed out our names. I cut out each name and taped it onto the cardstock leaves. With a pencil, I traced the letters with enough pressure to leave an indentation. Once I removed the paper, I followed up with a fine point Sharpie. BOOM! Handwriting crisis averted.

After working so hard on this table, I can’t wait to enjoy some good food and company 🙂
